FAQs

Q?I’d like to bring my computer in for service. Why doesn’t Berkeley Computer Services have a store?
A.

There are several reasons why we choose not to have a brick and mortar location:

  1. Reduced Overhead Costs: Operating without a physical location can reduce costs associated with rent, utilities, and maintenance, allowing the company to offer its services at a more competitive price.
  2. Increased Flexibility: Not having a physical location can allow the company to provide its services from anywhere, making it easier to accommodate customers who are not located in the same area.
  3. Improved Scalability: Operating without a physical location can make it easier for the company to expand its customer base and reach new markets, as it is not limited by the constraints of a physical location.
  4. Better Focus on Technology: By not having a physical location, the company can focus its resources on technology and service delivery, rather than maintaining a physical space.
  5. Improved Response Time: Operating remotely can allow the company to respond to customer needs and resolve issues more quickly, as technicians do not need to travel to the customer’s location.
  6. Better Work-Life Balance: Operating without a physical location can provide a better work-life balance for the company’s employees, as they can work from home or remotely, reducing their commute time and allowing them to have a more flexible schedule.

In conclusion, we chose not to have a brick and mortar location over 30 years ago and have never regretted that choice.
